5 Months

I'm five months old and my mommy won't stop kissing my cheeks...and she's always trying to cover up my crazy wild hair with hats.

See my tricks? I like to grab my feet and eat my toes. I also like to experiment with how wide my mouth will open and what might fit into it.

I wasn't kidding about the mouth trick...

She also has some new names for me. The dismantler is the newest. I take apart anything I get my hands on. I can pull every toy off my play gym...no one knows how...and I'm not sharing my secrets.

O-Man is another name I keep hearing

I've been practicing sitting up on my own...but these pumpkins make it much easier.

If you're lucky, you'll catch my biggest grins...the ones where I show off my dimple. That's the other name mama calls me. Dimple. She can't help it...but she should probably not let it last past toddlerhood. I'm very shy about showing my dimple in pictures. You'll have to come snuggle me and find my ticklish spots.

Pumpkin Patch

The kids have been asking when we can go to the pumpkin patch since last November. I love it too.

The truth is...I DIDN'T take these on his four month birthday. Mom fail. But, he was closer to four months than five...so it'll have to do. I had to include a bunch of pics from this shoot. I can't get over how cute he is. His eyes are so bright with happiness. And his hand is Always.In.His.Mouth.

Peek at a Week

I have all these blog post ideas...too many. I also have a bunch of pics from the past week or so. I'll let you take a "peek at a week" around here. Oh, and apparently there is a limit on how many videos you can fit in one blog post! I suppose I'll have to save a few for next time.

 

EJ memorized a little poem.

He also started at a homeschool enrichment program on Fridays. He is taking P.E., piano lessons, science lab, early explorers, music, and foodology. Don't you wish you were him? :-)

Clara started a worship dance class on Fridays.

EJ and Kahlen spend a morning each week together to do some school projects. Here they are casting "bronze" spearheads. We did use plaster instead of bronze but a little paint will do the trick! Notice they're both lefties. :-)

EJ loves school when it involves legos! Won the heart of my son when we made this model of an Israelite home together. I even earned a compliment from the lego king! "Mom, you're a REALLY GOOD lego builder!" Smiles all around.
